Kinship Spiritual Diversity Paintings at Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital

You may recall the Kinship Project that was active in Lunenburg and Queens’ Counties from the Fall of 2012 until the Spring of 2014. The group was exploring diversity, including religious pluralism, as it exists on the South Shore and beyond.

In the second year of the project the group created a set of paintings about spiritual diversity. These paintings are now hanging outside of the Emergency Department at Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital. I am really pleased about this and grateful to Wendy McVeigh and others at Nova Scotia Health Authority South Shore, who made it possible.

Please have a look next time you are at Fisherman’s and please explore the Kinship banners and videos.
